Failure-to-disclose Claims Regarding Hidden Defects

Alright so. We bought a house while stationed overseas (military) . We just closed on it a little around a month ago and did all of the process virtually. We have had a lot of friends do the same thing and they never ran into issues so we assumed we would be fine. WRONG. The house itself is lovely but what’s not lovely is the fact that when I hired an HVAC company to come out and check out why our AC was not working they discovered that there was/is a cat infestation. The guy found deceased kittens, feces urine everything under the sun. We did have a home inspection/pest inspection done but he said the area was simply non accessible and from what he saw from the entrance of the attic it looked good. 2 days before closing the sellers had duct work done. We know they saw this. We don’t have proof because when I called the company they used they stated that they knew them personally and they never even had animals on the property. Not true because the disclosures say there was cats and a dog on the property. They would not provide notes on the service they did as they said they did it as a side job yet before closing we got an invoice of the work done. They said they would get back to us and never did. I know they’re covering up for each other. We reached out to the sellers agent and they said welp it’s a done deal. Every single lawyer we have called has no consultations this month. JAG on base has nothing until October. Has anyone dealt with anything like this ? We just feel failed by everyone. We are being quoted 6k only for duct work and 3-4k for animal removal/ remediation. Not including costs to reinsulate everything. We are at a loss. Did not expect any of this and we can’t get anything legal done until they get back to us. Looking for hope.
