False Restraining Order
I just got a false restraining order against me dismissed, thankfully. It was in another state, and I had to get a lawyer because the court would not give me any information pertaining to the case and I was 900 miles away.
I expected after beating the case to feel a sense of relief, but unfortunately I don't. She lied and said she was getting spam calls from me, she said I tried to hack into her social media pages and emails with absolutely no proof. She made me look absolutely crazy to the judge, and it's incredibly embarrassing and scary that someone can do this to someone else. I had to spend thousands on this lawyer. I don't have a record and this is the first time I've ever been in court. I am so scared she will try to do this again with false accusations because it's clear she is really trying to ruin my life. I suffer from severe anxiety and this is making it so much worse.
Can anyone who has went through this tell me what I can do to potentially help if she does this again? I get spam calls daily, I get log in attempts, however I have never pointed the finger at anyone or tried to place blame. It is insane to me that this can be done. I am already out thousands of dollars, my sanity essentially, and I am extremely on edge after hearing how many times she lied under oath.
