Gm Is Trying To Not Bring Me Back After Maternity Leave.
My GM is trying to find ways to not bring me back on while I’m on maternity leave. I live in Texas, I’m a bartender, and the GM has a history of being hostile with other employees. I know FMLA only applies for work places that have 50 or more, they’re planning on opening another location, just unsure if that would apply since I’m leaving when the new place opens. The new bar won’t be the same concept but possibly same LLC. I don’t want to find a new work place due to the income I make, and it would give me flexibility to work within my new availability with a newborn. I’m planning on going to the owners to get reassurance, just unsure what else I can do. The GM has been talking about this since he found out I was pregnant, calling me names and stuff, I just don’t have proof due to being second hand news.

Edit- chances they have a different LLC, but same owners, and they’re moving people over there, and using same computer systems.
