Good Friend Is Being Accused Of Inappropriate Conduct As A Swim Coach.
Location: Florida
My friend (male, early twenties) is currently an assistant swim coach for a high school. He's very popular with the kids he coaches. Group pictures were being taken of him and the whole swim team in the pool by students on the yearbook staff. Four of the female students (all good friends) asked if each of them could take turns sitting on top of his shoulders for the group photos. He was at first reluctant, but they insisted and he relented and let each one climb up onto his shoulders one at a time and the yearbook kids took the photos. Later that night, one of the yearbook kids was reviewing all the photos on his laptop to see which ones to choose for the yearbook. His mother saw the photo of one of the girls on my friend's shoulders and flipped out, saying that it was extremely inappropriate and really went berserk when she saw the other three photos. She contacted the principal of the school, and the principal has informed my friend of the complaint. My friend is absolutely besides himself about this and I want to know if a school could fire him for this and if anyone agrees that this is inappropriate conduct.
