Got An Email For A Copyright Settlement, $30,000, Help

Card image cap

hi, i’m a bit panicked so sorry if this is word salad. I own a small business and when i say small i mean small (It’s just me who works and runs it)! I use canva pro for my facebook page because it’s easy and customers seem to like it as well. I got an email this morning from CopyCat Legal saying I used an image without permission and want $30,000! I can’t afford that!!! So i’ve been researching canva and reached out to them so i can get the paper work from them saying it is a photo to be used on canva pro… but when i was researching it seems like you need to change the photo in some way.
i adjusted the color/lighting and added a filter, and then in my facebook post i included a description of the item i was selling and the price of said item. I just don’t know if that’s enough to go on? The photo was just a visual so my customers could see how it looked, i always take my own photos but for this particular item it needs to be cooked and o didn’t personally have the tools to cook this said item for a photo so i went to canva… I then realized while im waiting for canvas response i can do some investigating. So i found the photo and found the user account that has that photo in their library but idk if that helps at all but i ended up also sending that to canva support! i’m unbelievably anxious and idk what to do!

So i guess im asking what should my nexts steps step be? i have very little money and thats the stressful part. Should i try to find an attorney? Or a lawyer? i have no clue.
Location: Wisconsin.
