Grandmother Is A Danger To Herself And Me With Some Sort Of Undiagnosed Mental Decline And Refuses Help.

Location: Alabama. First off, I hope I am doing this right. I 25(F) currently live with my grandmother 81(F) and her/our dog. I have lived with her for just a single day short of a year now and I have massive concerns for how mentally competent she is. Over the last year I have kept a small diary of things she has done and things that concern me.

Recently there has been two instances that bring extra layers of concern for me. A few nights ago I woke up around 1am to her grunting and mumbling around upfront and when I went to go ask her what she was doing she replied that she was looking for her phone and TV remote, both of which were right on her bed next to where she had gotten up from.

Most recently was tonight, she was cooking frozen chicken wings in the microwave but apparently she chose a paper plate and proceeded to put them in for 20 minutes. I sprinted out of my room once the smell of smoke reached me and by then I realized my bedroom was also smokey. After figuring out the situation I came to understand the above and that she had left the microwave unattended.

The chicken and plate were entirely black and charred and when I tried to point out how dangerous this was she got mad and just told me I don't know everything.

TLDR: Grandmother is showing dangerous behaviors and actions that could be a danger to herself and me but refuses to acknowledge it and get proper help. What is there for me to do legally? Google only gives me elder abuse report form but I'm not trying to report abuse I'm trying to report that she may need a proper mental evaluation.
