Had A Spothero Spot And Got Towed- Spothero Not Paying.

I had a Spothero spot back in November, when I arrived, the spot was taken, so Spothero offered to transfer me to a different lot. I parked at the different spot, and Spothero said they emailed the towing company to not tow me.
When I come back in the morning, my car is gone. Turns out it got towed. The towing company is refusing to communicate with the spothero representative on the phone and saying they never got the email, and they don't know what they're talking about. When I get to the towing lot, they make me pay 170 dollars in cash because they do not accept cards. When I look at the website later, they actually do accept card payments. The lady at the towing company was so rude, saying she doesn't care I had a spothero spot, the email did not matter, if someone asks them to tow, they tow. So I pay to get my car out because I need to get to work, and because Spothero says they will refund me.
It has been a month and a half at this point. Spothero is refusing to refund me for my parking spot and the 170 dollars. They say that because the towing company is refusing to communicate with them, they cannot do anything. I highly doubt that the towing company is ever going to reach out or help them. The reason on my receipt for being towed was "did not have a spothero spot"... Even though I did. So the entire situation is quite frustrating because no party is willing to help.
Is there anything I can do? I know 200 dollars isn't that much money, but as a broke new-grad, any little bit helps.
