Haven’t Been Paid Over A Month Of Wages In Indiana.
Location: Indiana.
I got a second job at McDonalds working overnights. I’ve been there over a month. My first three paychecks are on a pay card I don’t have access to. I was given an entirely different one. I am registered on both, but the pay was sent to the card I don’t have. The pay card company cannot move the money without the first card being active so my only option with them is to call them back with McDonalds and have it fixed. I have zero way to activate a card that I don’t physically have. My employer has to be on the call to move the money from the inactive card to the active one.
It’s three pay periods I am missing and have yet to be paid on in a timely manner. Future pay is supposed to go to my actual direct deposit which I always wanted to use anyways.
McDonald’s originally said I need call the pay card company and report the first card as lost. I did that and the pay card company said they cannot do anything without the employer on the call since the card is in a “pre-activated” status.
