Cited For Noisy Muffler With Stock Car

I got ticketed after revving my car, he told me the ticket would come in the mail and it only arrived two weeks after the court date. although he cited me for a noisy muffler and improper display of plates, NJSA 39:3-70 states that this is requires cars to have a working muffler and bans cut outs, bypass devices etc. yesterday about a month later, a cop who i’m pretty sure was present during that stop pulled me over again, claiming i was following a car closely and failed to fully stop at a red light before making a right turn but he’d “let me off the hook” and ended up citing me for a noisy muffler as well. i already got a court date somehow for the first citation so i called and had it rescheduled to august 26th and thought i might as well fight it. will i be able to get this dismissed since technically he gave me the wrong citation for a loud car? the car is a 2024 mustang gt and is factory equipped/stock with valves.
