Help. Job Never Gave Raise Or Backpay To Me Or Several Other Employees.

LOCATION: Florida: Ive been working at this restaurant for a couple months now only only realized that I never got my raise. For context they told me" If you learn all the stations, and work at least 30 days. you will get a raise". Its bi weekly pay so only my first paycheck and part of my second should have been the original pay. He schedules me different days and hours every week, so I didnt even realize it never changed.

I worked over 600 hours that I should have had my raise for. I go and tell them because something similar happened with my girlfriends pay. her pay was fixed in 24 hours. My boss told me everything was worked out. 7 days go by and no backpay. I told my kitchen manager if I didnt have it by last Thursday (the day my boss said I should have it the latest), then I wasnt coming in because i cant work for someone whos not going to pay me. another full week has passed and its pay day. I dont have a single cent of packpay in my check.

I dont know what to do here anymore. Legit no one is picking up the phone anymore and there are too many appointments for everything to get in NOW. Im broke and was expecting money from sources like THE FUCKING IRS, but I cant contact them either. lawyers, IRS, Insurance agency, my own apartment complex, and every job near me is overstaffed. Tell me how all the business from the diamond ring shops, to the fucking target are overstaffed, but the job I work is so understaffed that I told them I could not work sunday monday and only work 20 hours a week. They put me on for 40 hours on doubles on the weekend the next schedule.
