Hit By Tow Truck Driver As Pedestrian

So to keep it short and sweet I woke up because I heard a loud bang I asked if my partner registered their car and they said “no” I raced outside to stop the tow driver and try to pay there drop fee, got to my partners car door started to open the door and the tow truck and they said “can’t hear you” and rehooked the vehicle and pulled the car into car into me. I jogged to the side to tell the driver they are required to let me pay a drop fee and to stop the truck and they continued to ignore . I then sprinted past the car and signaled for them to stop they then drove into me. And kept trucking me with their truck for a good few minutes till I told them I’m calling the police.He stops I tell him you have to let me at least pay a minimum tow fee for the vehicle, he says”no I don’t” and I cite TDLR-Texas-gov website and he keeps denying it. My partner shows up and he says she has to pay a $135 drop fee. I call the police and let them know the situation. And they arrive in minutes. Once they arrive he switches the story and claims he’ll drop it free this time. The police assume he’s right and they say he’s just doing his job and he’s willing to let me off the hook. I was more concerned with it being my partners vehicle so I let her take the car and move it and thank the officers for showing up.

I’m looking for insite if it is possible to press charges/get a restraining order in effect against him and his company or if what the time limit is for the situation
