How To Get Copies Of Evidence To The Respondent’s Lawyer? (restraining Order, Ca)

Card image cap

Location: California (Mono County)

It’s bizarre to me that I even have to ask this but I have not been able to get a straight answer from the actual courthouse.

I filed a restraining order against my ex. The actual restraining order papers were served by the sheriff, and a hearing date is set.

I was told to get 3 copies of any documents I want to use for evidence. Got those printed.

How do I actually get them to my ex/his lawyer?

I left the county and his lawyer isn’t there anyway, so it seems like it has to be by mail? I’m assuming I need to send it some special way so there’s proof of receipt, but the court told me I can’t use the websites listed for serving the actual order. The court told me they have to have the documents ahead of time so I can’t just bring them to the hearing. How do I even get his lawyer’s mailing address? Do I need to attach any special forms besides my documents?

The court’s been telling me what I can’t do, but can’t seem to answer how I do get them sent over. They suggested hiring a lawyer but I’ve lost enough money to this man and I don’t feel like I should need to pay hundreds an hour just to submit documents??

Thank you in advance!
