Husban Just Made Me Sign Papers To Separate Out Accounts
Hello. I am legit looking for clear advice on what to do for myself. Husband of 23 years just made me sign paper work to separate our bank accounts. I have not worked (stay at home mom) of 15 years. He makes 110k, plus retirement, plus disability. He makes right around 10k a month. He said I am on my own now making 2400 a month, whoch isnt enough for a car, insurance, medical, rent at a new place, utilities, food and gas. How do I handle this properly? I want to be civil. I am not a golddigger. Neber have been bit I cant survive on my own at this point. Do I take him to court? Do I leave him and stay with a family member? What about custody of our 14 year old? He works in the UK. Our home is in Louisiana. I cannot afford the bills there on my own. I want to make the right choice here. He just forced me to separate our bank accounts so I have zero access to our normal accounts that we have shared for over 2 decades. Please, please, I jusy want legal advice on how to handle this situation. Thank you in advance.
