I Am Being Harassed By Criminals. What Can I Do?

I am 26F married to 40M. Been together since I was 18. His father is in prison for the murder of 2 women (mom & step mom) and is serving life.

My husband has talked to his dad since he was 18 and up until we got married. I told him it was making me uncomfortable that he was talking to the man who killed his mom.. and step mom, and that this was a diagnosed psychopath, I didn’t want him knowing things about our little baby or me. He said okay.

He was telling this man about our son.

His dad has been having people reach out since. “His friends” from the outside which are former felons.

One being a convicted child rapist from 2009 that was charged with aggravated rape of a child x3.

They got my number and have been calling unknown and also emailing us both. I called the prison once, they said would talk to the inmate. I replied to the email and told them to stop contacting me and if they continue, I’ll take legal action.

It’s been 3 months and it started again. They emailed again trying to see why my husband won’t talk to his dad and calling. I looked this guy up and this is another pedophile/ child molester.

I called the prison and spoke to a wonderful guy who said this was absurd and he would make sure to handle it, and see what can be done about revoking his access to letters/calls so he can’t reach out to third parties to harass.

I am now currently afraid because I am worried they will come to my home or hurt me or my child.

My husband has made me feel like this is no big deal and not until I got upset did he want to do anything about it. His dad used to make him trinkets and things in prison, and he would set them out on his bookshelves. I didn’t understand any of this and I was much younger when we met.. I was 18. Now at 26, I see it all as very sick. I’m worried and don’t know what to do
