I Keep Getting Stopped Because Of Someone Else's Warrant.

Location: Indiana. Hello, I'm a 49M, out of the State of Indiana. I've had a pretty intense summer! The problem started toward the tail end of May. I run a small business that requires me to travel to clients' homes to conduct business. On one such trip to a neighboring city to where I live, I was stopped by a county sheriff's deputy. He said his onboard plate reader came up that I had a warrant on a narcotics charge out of Indianapolis. I gave him my license to where he did a further check. The deputy said he was confused because the man in question did not have a vehicle registered to him. Apparently, he and I have the same first and last name but different middle names. He ended up letting me go without further incident.

Fast forward two weeks later. I was attending a workshop for my job just outside of Indianapolis, when several police officers came in, called out my name, and took me out in handcuffs They said I was under arrest for a warrant. They took me outside the building to their cars, where they ran my drivers license. Again, they discovered I was not the guy they were looking for. They then gave me a sort of half-assed apology and let me go.

A few days later, I took my kids to Kings Island, outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. On our way home, just a couple of miles outside the park, I got pulled over again! This time multiple police officers were involved. They did a felony stop on me! They had me exit the vehicle with their guns drawn, and walked back to the sound of his voice. My son and daughter when the car with me at the time! For a third time, they took my driver's license and saw that I was not the guy they were looking for. They said that for some reason, my license plate number was attached to the guy's warrant, which was why they did the felony stop. They let me go without further incident.

The last time I got stopped was about three weeks after that incident. This one was the weirdest stop. I was taking my son to band practice, when I got stopped by small town cop, who said the flock cameras of neighboring town flagged me. What makes this part weird, is that the town in question does not have any flock cameras. So it made this whole thing more confusing!

I eventually got my license plate pulled off the warrant, and I'm guessing the man in question was eventually arrested, because I have not been pulled over since mid July. Now the question is, do I have a legal basis to sue the jurisdictions that stopped me wrongfully. I'm more concerned about the Ohio one, since they drew guns on me!
