I'm 16 And Got Kicked Out About 8 Months Ago, Looking To Get Emancipated??

Location: Phoenix, Az.

To start, I don't want to press any charges against my mother because she does still take care of my younger sibling and I don't want them to get harmed in the crossfire.

In December of 2025, I ran away after being screamed at repeatedly by my mother. I went to my bf who was nearby and my sibling ended up showing up a few minutes later and giving me their overshirt and pants(I had ran out without shoes and in a very thin top, my bf had given me his shoes the moment he seen me). My mother then showed up and attempted to drag me by my hair whilst screaming at me to "get in the car or I wasn't welcome back in her house". Afterwards a few friends I had previously called showed up and got me fed and took care of me for a few hours till my bf ended up coming back and picking me up. I have been living with him since. I did call 911 the next day and explained the situation and got taken off the runaway list. My mother chose to consent to me living elsewhere but she's technically still my legal guardian.

Now here comes the confusing part for me, according to what I've researched in order to be emancipated I need to have a stable income and providing my own housing. I was wondering if I could still be emancipated if I don't currently have a job(I'm in the process of looking) and if I still live with my bf. He's been keeping me well taken care of just curious if that changes anything when it comes to being emancipated. I have about 3000 saved up for any expenses that may come out of it in the near future.

I'm currently in the process of changing schools and the reason this has been so important to me is because my mother absolutely refuses to help me at all with anything, I have not been able to access any of my own legal documents and it's made the process 100x more difficult. Alongside that a main worry was if I was needing medical help and I just can't because my mother isn't around to help. (I'd rather have complete control over my life without the constant paranoia of something happening).

I'm open to answering any questions, sorry if this all came out as a ramble reddit was honestly my last resort.
