Is This Worth Talking To Police Again?
Location: [ME] f, 19 - So long story short, an old coworker of mine was fired yesterday and started sending me and multiple other employees harassing texts messages. The texts I received via phone number were mainly just dumb insults plus telling me to kill myself, “she’d use my drawings as target practice”, I’m a f*ggot, etc. Also messaged my boyfriend on facebook just to insult me basically. She was trespassed from my work and my boss and I went to the police station in our town. I decided to have them do “cease of harassment” rather than pressing charges since I didn’t see that necessary. I just now found more messages from her in my message requests on facebook that she had sent around the same time/after I blocked her number. Some of it was the same insults plus saying she hopes I die/crash. She also wrote “you have not seen the last of me I know where you work I know what you drive and your day will come”. That last part genuinely scares me because it is true she does know both those things. Even though I don’t really believe she would go through with anything, I did not report that part when I was talking to police. I’m probably just overthinking it because I’m freaked out but I don’t know if it’s worth contacting them again to update?
