Job Wants Us Recording Customer Convos In Order To Review Them And Give Us Ai Feedback On How To Upsell Better In The Future

Location: Oklahoma

I am aware that Oklahoma is a one party consent state. This specific scenario though seems pretty confusing (and slimy, I’m aware). Job requires me to be inside of customers homes and on the phone with them (trades related). Have the laws not caught up with the times yet or is there something legally preventing this? Reasonable expectation of privacy? Something? I know if I was a customer and found out my voice was being recorded, stored in an AI database (along with my name and address), and used without my consent I’d be beyond angry. It’s violating, but is loss of business and being viewed as shady the only consequence here in my state?

Not looking for career advice, I know where I stand morally about this, just curious about the legality in a one party consent state.

EDIT: Just to be clear, we are NOT leaving a recording device secretly in customers home. We are to record with our phones while present/on the phone.
