Landlord Evicting Me Over Tarot Cards

Location: British Columbia Canada

I am a 26 year old woman with no real job and am going through a divorce. I have been living in this house for less than 6 months and rent has always been paid in full.

Yesterday my landlord found my tarot cards and threw a fit. She's reaaaally religious. She asked me to get rid of them and I said no. Today I got a text from her saying:

"OP I am giving you until the end of the month to move out November 30th. At 8pm. 2026. Thank you. I wish you the best."

I stupidly don't have a rental agreement as my landlord was a family friend who I trusted. I will not be making that mistake again.

For the first 5 months of living here we did share a kitchen but less than two weeks ago I set up my own mini kitchenet in the basement which means I don't share any common areas with her besides laundry so I know I'm still covered under RTA. I've stopped responding to her entirely. I'm going to the tenancy building on Monday to get advice. She has just now given me notice via text that she will be coming downstairs to inspect the property for damage when we haven't even been down here for two weeks. It's my ex-husband and I. We stay in separate rooms but he still pays my rent and we are on good terms.

I'm just wondering if there's anything else I need to watch for.
