Likelihood Of Losing Unemployment?

Card image cap

Location: TN

I was discharged from my job on 9/25/26. I filed for unemployment on 9/28/26, honestly filled out all paperwork sent to me, and was approved. So far I've received 2 payments (10/19/26 & 10/24/26), and the online portal says I'm eligible for 8 more weeks.

I received an appeal notice on 10/21/26 and a tele-hearing notice on 10/23/26. It's set for 11/5/26. They're contesting:

Tenn. Code Ann. 50-7-303(a)(1) & (2) Whether claimant left work voluntarily without good cause or was discharged for misconduct.

Tenn. Code Ann. 50-7-304(b) (2) (D) Whether the employer will be charged for benefits paid due to its failure to respond timely and/or sufficiently to the Agency's request for separation information or failure to appear at a hearing.

I compiled 3 PDF exhibits and submitted them to the case. 1) the separation notice, as I was fired. 2) screenshots of texts from department leaders showcasing positive feedback, new asking classifying questions showing I was actively engaged, and me agreeing to tasks and procedures showing I was doing my best to comply. 3) scans of my daily planner to detail the absurd number of meetings and problems that I dealt with on a day-to-day basis that interfered with my productivity (the reason they fired me). I received confirmation it's been added to the case about an hour after submission.

I'm now having trouble requesting any submitted documents from my former employer. Who do I call or email for that? What I looked up said I had to send my evidence to them (which I did), so theoretically they have to send theirs to me eventually, right? I'm happy to clarify anything as requested. TIA!
