Making Money During Bankruptcy?

Hi, I am AuDHD.

I filed for bankruptcy I think it went through at the beginning of August. I had started the process in May. I quit my job before starting the process as I was/am burnt tf out and my partner and I talked about it and they were okay with me quitting.

But then in July they got laid off. It's been very very very hard since then because anything we had saved up had to be gone when I filed for bankruptcy so we didn't have anything to fall back on.

I have a retirement account from my last job and when I asked the bankruptcy lawyer if I could use that if we needed it for bills he said something along the lines of to wait the 3 months until the bankruptcy was complete(?) and it seemed like he was saying it'd be best that I don't make any money during this.

Well I've now been putting in applications because my partner had barely had any interviews and their most recent one the lady said they were hired but then they never got on boarding paperwork and the job said HR was still deciding and if he were selected he'd get an email which he hasn't gotten.

So I put out some applications, heard back from 2 and it seems like maybe I got the Walmart one I applied to because I passed the assessment and I have an orientation date.

I was thinking of just putting my partners bank account on the job i get since they're paying for everything now anyways.

But will that mess anything up?

I don't really know what else to do other than to force myself to go back to work.
