Manager Said He Didn’t Like Black Women On A Recorded Teams Training
Location: Las Vegas. I am a black woman in tech and my manager is a black man that says often he doesn’t like black women. Not going to get into his reasons why. For the past year and a half he has dangled work trips in front of me then takes them away. Said he would train me and the training never happens. We had a training after me asking for months for feedback on my job performance and where I could improve. I don’t speak Spanish but I understand it and he is a native speaker and during our training session he says in our recorded teams call he doesn’t like black women. Do to other issues with my coworkers me mentioning to coworker Ann that Brian and Tina are late 2-3 hours everyday and her Ann telling them what I said (Ann is not the manager but the team lead at the time) my coworkers have been leaving me out of trainings and not speaking to me for the past 8 months. I reported it to HR and they said they are providing additional training and no retaliation was found, I want to sue them do I have a case?
