Me And My Parents Are Being Sued For Eviction And I Don't Know What To Do

Location: New York City

Since I have graduated High School (June 2023), I have been employed and my parent's haven't been. I have pretty much been helping my parents and us live by paying my dad constantly. He told me it was for bills, but after $40,000 dollars later, it wasn't just for bills.

I'd ZELLE him, and often would have to pay insane amounts of money for other bills because of late payments and my Dad not telling me beforehand only when it was last minute and on the brink of the service getting shut off.

Now we are being sued for eviction, and I have no idea what to do. Last time we signed a lease, my name was on it. At the time I was worried, but I still had the slightest hope that things will workout and get better before and I genuinely had no other choice. At the time I had no where else to go, and I was unable to save money because I had to keep spending it on basic needs such as gas, internet, electricity.

I don't know what measures I have to take to not be liable for the insane amount they owe ($18,000) and have my credit score and overall life starting off in the dumps before it even started.

Also I am planning on moving after the court case, but at this point I don't know if possible until I have this settled. Any help, advice or prayers for me would be appreciated lol.
