Missouri, Usa - My Factory Job Does Not Offer Any Breaks Or Lunches, What Is The Legality Of That?

I work in a factory making electrical wire for construction purposes. We work 12 hour shifts, and every line in the plant gets four 10 min breaks and one 30 min lunch except for my department, which gets no breaks or lunches at all. My specific line takes the bare wire and covers it in a rubber compound.
The logic as to why I don't get breaks is for 2 different reasons. #1, if we just shut my line down for 30 minutes, the compound inside the machine would harden and cause damage. #2, since we can't just shut the line down, we would have to bleed out compound for 30 minutes instead, which would equate to probably 100 pounds of waste every lunch break, which is costly. Both of these are understandable.
What I don't understand, though, is why couldn't another employee just relieve me so I could take normal breaks? I've worked plenty of jobs where that's how they operate, like being a cashier or unloading trucks for instance. What are the laws on not being offered any breaks whatsoever like this?
