My Brother Got My Mentally Unstable Dad To Sign Over 50 Acres Of Land Behind Everyone’s Backs.

My family owned 500 acres of land. Over time, it’s been split and sold piece by piece. Now we have 80 left in a trust with my dad and his mentally incapacitated brothers names only and then we had 50 that was in my dads name only. Recently, my brother and his wife had my dad meet them to sign over 10 acres (this was offered to all three of us kids to build homes) and while there my brother talked my dad into signing over all 50 acres that my dad had that he didn’t have to worry about his brother wanting to split or sell etc. I’m not sure how my dad thinks he can still sign over 10 acres to my sister and I now that he has nothing that he won’t have to get approval over from his brother who just wants to sell the land for money. My uncle already sold tons of land and my dad being an alcoholic, unwell himself mentally and not handling this in a smart way didn’t make my uncle sign anything stating that the land my uncle sold came from only his half of the land. Now my dad who hasn’t sold any land at all or made any money from the land still has to split what’s left of the land. I’m curious if there is anything at all that my sister and I can do. Is there a way to have this u done? My sister took my dad to an attorney months ago. They refused to allow him to sign any paperwork because they felt he wasn’t mentally sound. He’s clearly struggling from issues due to years of alcoholism as well as early on set dementia but this is all undiagnosed. Is there anything I can do to try and get my brother to split the land evenly? Is there a way for us to get the trust either ended or maybe even give control to a third party so they can’t keep selling land and giving land away to people who are obviously manipulating them for financial gain? I’m desperate. I’ve been working on my credit in hopes to build a forever home for myself and my kids but now everything I planned on is just out the window because the land is just being given away to my brother or sold so my uncle can take his gold digging girlfriend on another month long vacation before she breaks up with him until he gets more money again like she’s been doing since my grandparents died. Please tell me there is a way to fix this. My sister and I are desperate. We’ve been told our whole lives the land would be there when we are ready to build.
