My Convicted, Currently Incarcerated Rapist Changed His Name To Mine

Location: Kitsap County, WA

(Using He/Him pronouns because thats what is still listed as his gender)

My rapist is male, I am female. As of 2021 he is currently serving time after confessing and pleading guilty to multiple counts of rape when I was a minor.

In 2021 he went to a police station and made an hours long confession, I had to get involved multiple court sessions to eventually him pleading guilty. I feel like he did this to get attention from me, as he had no reason to randomly confess to crimes years prior.

I just got a vine notification that he was transfered, but his name is now changed to a female name. His first name starts with the same letter, and sounds similar to my first name. His middle name is now my exact middle name. He was my step dad for a decade, I frequently went by my first+middle name or first and middle initials. There is no way this wasn't intentional.

Do I have any legal recourse? I don't want my rapist to have my middle name. I'm not even sure how he was legally able to do this. Where would I start?

I support trans people, this is not the issue. It is my name, and it feels like he is intentionally stealing another piece of me.

I also have a non contact order against him. Would him doing this be in violation of that?
