My Father Is Being Denied Visitation From His Own Family While He Is In A Coma At A Nursing Facility.
When he was at the hospital, several doctors told me that it's important that he hears from people that he knows. I am his only family member here and also his son. The nursing facility where they transferred him (based on lies from hospital which they cannot even prove) have bad mouthed me in his official medical records saying things like I threatened this hospital, which is ridiculous and not true, and the nursing home has made strict rules for denying me any visitation with him and there other things I can do for him that the nursing staff does not or is not required to do that was advised from his doctors, like playing his favorite radio station on his phone and speaking to him in a language that the nursing staff do not know. I also massage his hands and feet which I was given permission to do from his doctors and this helps with swelling and range of motion stuff. He seems to respond well when I was allowed to visit him like opening up his eyes and breathing better. I can list names of his previous doctors at the hospital that have said that he should receive visitation from people he knows, especially me.
