My Father Was Arrested For Killing My Mother After Ongoing Fights, What Should I Do Now Legally?

I am 19 years old and my life has completely changed in the past two weeks.
My parents had been arguing a lot recently because my father started talking to his ex again. It was causing daily fights at home, and things were getting worse. My mother was very stressed and the environment in the house was not good.
One night, they had a very serious argument. I was in my room and could hear them shouting. After some time, everything suddenly became quiet. When I came out, I found my mother lying on the floor. I panicked and called 911.
The police came and arrested my father at the scene. Since then, he has been in custody and there is going to be a criminal case.
Right now, I am staying with a relative. I am still in shock and trying to process everything. I don’t really understand how the legal system works or what I am supposed to do next.
What should I do now to protect myself legally and handle this situation properly?
