My Job Is Threaten To Fire Me Because I'm Not Getting Enough Phone Numbers.

Location: Florida. My job has a reward app where you put your info in and you can save on specific items in store but to get the discount you have to put your phone number into the machine at checkout. When my job added this they told us we had to get 50% of all customers to put in their number even if they don't have the app and if we failed to get 50% every day we will be written up and if we get three write-ups we will then be fired. Everybody was very confused and asked how exactly we get them to put in their number if they don't want to and we were told to force them to put their number in by reaching over the counter and clicking the button for them. Managers get a bonus for this and everyone who is not a manager gets nothing from it. Well last week they changed the percentage that we have to get to 70% every day. I haven't been forcing any customers to put in their phone number and my district manager is telling my store manager to write me up even though he doesn't want to because he also disagrees with this. So I was hoping that someone could possibly tell me if this is even legal and what I should do?
