Nc- Traffic Stopped, I Got Boxed In And Hit Someone

Location: North Carolina

I was recently in a highway accident. Traffic was flowing and suddenly my lane came to a screeching halt. All other lanes stayed at speed. I had a standard safe amount of road between myself and the car in front of me. That car had to swerve to the median to avoid the stopped car. I became boxed in and ended up hitting him. My daughter and I suffered minor injuries but will definitely need some ongoing care. My vehicle is totalled. The car I hit was a tesla and as I stumbled out of my vehicle, I heard him screaming about his car and slamming his hands on the wheel. He kept saying he didnt hit anyone. A third car was about 20 yards up and had rear end damage. I am being found at fault for being the rear vehicle and the report says i was following too closely. I wasnt even following the tesla. It also says that he was still going 50 when i hit which is not true. How can I fight this and possibly obtain crash data and camera footage from the tesla? I contacted a couple attorneys but they only want cut and dry cases and wont fight for me. Is there anything I can do? The officer will not be on duty again for a few days so I already plan on reaching out.

Any advice appreciated.
