Need Advice
Location: DFW
Remove if not allowed. 4 members of my family were in a car accident. 1 died. The family was begging to attend to the one who died first before they were taken to different hospitals. We don't know why they separated our family but they lost our loved one. We did not know where she was for a week. We still have no information from the sheriff, or hospital what happened. They did not notify anyone and will not let anyone identify her body to confirm it is even our family member. We can't get any information from the hospital because she was never transported there. The officer who was transporting her body notified the hospital she died in his car and they told him not to take her to the hosiptal. He took her to a morgue as directed by the hospital. We just found out they released her body to a funeral home. By who? None of my family members were in contact with anyone. We don't know her time of death.There was not an autopsy done. The officer who took her in his vehicle is on vacation for 10 days. No one will speak to us. We still have not seen her in person. Is there anything we can do? What attorney do we need for something like this? Do we need to get one in the county that it happened? We are all heartbroken and just want answers.
