Need Advice Regarding Shared Driveway

Hi everyone,
Im using this throwaway account because I am in need of some advice (possibly legal).
I am currently having some issues regarding the neighbors I share the driveway with. We each own our side but from my understanding the “apron” of the driveway must not be obstructed in any way for both of us.
They always park there regardless but recently, they parked their vehicle in the apron and at an angle, even if it was on their property, it hindered my ability to go into my driveway without having to run over my garden and hit their car. I have an SUV which is a bit wider in the back.
I honked and said their car was in an angle and if they could please straighten it out because I would have to go over my garden and hit their car.
After laughing at the garden part, they said they wouldn’t move it because it wasn’t on my property, which I understood, but I just wasn’t going to be able to get through. I also told them no one shouldn’t be parking there anyway because we both use that part to be able to get out safely and adequately. They ultimately moved it after we kept arguing back and forth.
This is an ongoing problem and in need of some advice, is this something that I need to further escalate?
