Neighbor Is Harassing Us
Location: Virginia
We live in a condo we own and our downstairs neighbors have been harassing us since August 2025.
They have keyed/damaged my wife’s car and we have video of them doing various things like hitting the car with a fishing pole.
They are shaking our floor with bass, playing loud explosions and bass sounds in short bursts as well as provoking their dogs to bark loudly for hours. They cut a hole in their ceiling making the noise much more noticeable. We have a child that is almost 2 years old and they are purposefully shaking the floor when she is trying to sleep. When I worked night shift they would also purposefully blast music underneath my bed while I was sleeping around 11am.
They are also destroying our floor with a hammer through the holes they cut in the ceiling.
What can I do? The Condo Association won’t help because they say it is an “Owner to owner” issue and the police said we would need to take them to Civil court.
What can I do? Finding a Civil Lawyer is proving to be difficult.
