Neighbor Keeps Trespassing On My Lot To Throw Things In My Trash Cans.
LOCATION: Wisconsin
Basically what the title says. I have suspected someone of putting items into my trash can before on trash day, after the trash truck goes by but have only recently installed a camera with 24/7 recording.
Today I captured my neighbor who lives across the street from me, on camera, walk across the street onto my driveway with what looked like a bag of oranges in her hand and make a bee-line for my trash cans. Just before reaching them she looked up, saw the camera, and turned around and walked back towards her house.
I live in a mobile home park, so I am not the owner of the land. I am the tenant of that lot though, and I didn't give her permission to be there. I don't want her to come back.
If I tell the local police, will they give her a warning? Or does me not owning the land have any bearing on how a trespass would work? Just simply want this to stop happening. I figure I will report it to park management regardless but I would prefer if I could have a trespass warning issued.
Thank you in advance.
Edit: Forgot to mention that my can was no longer on the street either. It was wheeled back up against my deck and nowhere near the street. Might be relevant.
