Neighbor Set Fire To My Truck And He’s Walking Free, What Do I Do
Location: Philadelphia, PA
My neighbor was out on the street at 4am on Monday June 1st, shouting he was going to set fire to something. I called the police who came shortly after, but my neighbor ran away. The police said there was nothing they could do and advised me to call for further disturbance.
At 720am on the same day I came out to discover my truck on fire. Police and fire arrived on scene but it was too late to recover the vehicle.
The neighbor who set the fire was taken to hospital and a couple of days later released. He’s currently walking free only a few doors from my house. My partner and her child is staying with me at this moment and I fear every day he will do something to me or my property.
We have sufficient evidence that he set the fire, multiple cameras and eye witnesses.
The police and detectives haven’t given any information, asked me about next steps.
I’m in a constant state of anxiety, what can I do?
