Neighbors Giant Oak Tree Is Split And Going To Take Out My House.

arborist I called out yesterday called it "imminent" and said I should "pray to Jesus it holds until they get it taken care of. could be a day or a month but it's imminent"

and my neighbor was there and said hopefully they can get to it before they go out of town at the end of the month ????????‍♂️

I already sent a certified letter letting them know it's negligence and they'll be held responsible for all property damage and personal injury. city doesn't want to get involved in a civil matter even though it'll probably crash through my 2 story house (built in 1947) and kill someone. sent info and pics to insurance this morning, haven't heard back about anything.

I don't care about property damage but I'm actually fearful it'll crash through my roof and kill 1 or all of us who sleep upstairs.

is there anything else I can do besides waiting for the disaster?
