Partners Ex-wife Is Spiraling And May Be A Danger. What Are My Options?

RELEVANT INFORMATION: - Location: Maryland USA. - Involved people: Myself (F33), my boyfriend (M44), his ex-wife (F40-something), my 4 children and the two children between them.

THE ISSUE

Ever since his ex-wife has learned about my existance there has been a continuous stream of harrasment. Wether that be via fake social media-accounts, anonymous emails, throwaway phonenumbers,... It has gotten so bad that both my brother and myself have deleted all social media, I have muted my email-notifications (last sunday I got 28(!) anonymous emails, all of them detailing how horrible my partner is.

I have cPTSD and this kind of behavior is messing with me, as I am a survivor of severe domestic abuse at the hands of someone who displayed behavior just like this.

As she weaponizes their children my SO doesn't feel comfortable getting involved, but I am done.

Today I have finally texted the number every email tells me to message with the following;

*Hey.

I don't know who you are or if you're even actually the person who's been harrassing me for well over two months in an attempt to get me to contact this and various other phonenumbers.

Wether you are or not, I hope that this message puts an end to what is an incredibly uncomfortable position for me to be in. Without trying to be blunt; I don't care about whatever it is you have to say about his name or how warranted potential resentment may be. I would very much like to be left alone, whatever problem you may have with him should be discussed with him directly.

If you have no idea of who I am or why I am messaging you, I apologise, there is someone out there handing out your phonenumber(s) like free candy, harrassing me and my familymembers and refusing to stop until I contact you.

Whichever it is, I would very much like it to stop and hope that it ends with this text.

What returned to me was a small novel of insults, taunting and threats. This number has been blocked as well now, but I have officially reached the point where I take legal action or leave the relationship.

So, what are my options?
