Property Behind Us Just Had A Few Hundred Yards Of Internet Line Laid Across Our Property That They Are Probably Going To Bury Without Asking Us...

Location: Michigan

We have a place in a very lightly populated county, it is 15 acres. There is a property behind us (no road access) that does have an easement for access (worded in our deed as "A meandering 15 foot easement more or less, for ingress and egress over the premises which begins at the Northeasterly corner..."

It's a little dirt 2-track through our property they use a couple times a year. It's surrounded by a forest we do not want cut down at all.

Spectrum Internet just put in the boxes for fiber internet on our dirt road. It's weird because there's only 6 houses on the full mile long road.

We noticed this morning a black internet line running the entire depth of our property back to the property behind us. They are from Texas and don't get up there very often so I haven't had a chance to speak to them. We were not notified of this line by either Spectrum or the neighbors.

My fear is that they will bring a trencher up there, dig a trench across our entire property, cut trees down, cut tree roots, etc.

What legal right do I have to prevent this? I already have a ticket in with Spectrum but was hoping to understand more about my rights.
