Question About Ex Bf And Dv Charges

Hi everyone. So I have been in an abusive relationship for the last year or so. Some context- I didn't find out till later in the relationship that he had an active case and was accused of strangulation. After months of prosecution postponing discovery, he took a plea deal (instead of taking it to trial and possibly facing 5-10 years in prison) and has a final sentencing on 2/20. It's up to the judge to decide if he gets 2 years probation or 1 year in jail for that charge since it was his first offense.

Several months ago I ended up in the hospital because of him, neighbors called the police and he was arrested and then plead guilty to a DV misdemeanor. He was put on probation for 2 years for this. (The court knew of his other pending case.) I ended up getting back together with him. Please don't comment on this, trust me I already know. Trauma bonds are real and excruciating.

Fast forward to a couple days ago, of course he attacks me again and this time it's much worse. He's been arrested with 4 different felony charges-

BURGLARY, 1ST DEGREE

ASSAULT, 2ND DEGREE - DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

INTIMIDATING A PARTICIPANT IN LEGAL PROCESS

TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE

Finally to my question. I know I will learn more at his next two court appearances (2/18 & 2/20) but my anxiety is all over the place because they did give him a $10,000 F/C bond. My therapist, the responding officers, and my victim advocate all have expressed a worry that they've seen people with worse charges get by without serious jail time. Based on these recent charges and his current situation with the plea deal/probation, is it safe to assume that he will do some time? I'm wondering if there's extra steps I should be taking to ensure he doesn't just get released again. I apologize if this isn't a valid question here. Thank you if you took the time to read this.
