Receiving Constant Threats Of Violence And “blackmail”
location: georgia.
my mother-in-law is constantly causing issues in my life, without any provocation. she simply does not like me.
she has threatened to beat me with a softball bat, and has tried to fight me twice in person by getting all in my face, bucking at me, and cursing me out and begging me to hit her.
i have recently graduated nursing school, and she has threatened to come after my job by saying that she is going to report that i’m abusing drugs. she has also said she is going to try and get dcfs involved and try to get my child taken away from me by lying about drug use and physical abuse.
she has recently called the cops on me, but they had no reason to press charges against me.
she is trying to do anything to ruin my life.
what options do i have? i’m looking to see if there are any options to have her legally not able to contact me, be anywhere near me, or come after me in my place of employment. do i have any legal options here?
