Sexually Assaulted At Work

So as the title says, back in the spring, I was sexually assaulted at work. I am a registered nurse based in NJ. The person that assaulted me was a patient but also works for the same hospital as me and he also works in direct patient care like me. The incident occurred with a family member in the room as witness - the patient grabbed my boob and then proceeded to stick his hands in between my legs and grabbed my vagina. My nurse manager and hospital security were made aware after the incident occurred. HR was also made aware of the situation. As per HR the were taking this incident very seriously. Security had asked if I wanted to press charges, I was in shock of what had happened at the time that I had said no and that I wanted to think about it. Two days later after processing what had occurred, I had decided I wanted to press charges. As per the city’s police, because I did not want to press charges the day of the incident, they are unable to arrest the guy and now have to do an investigation. I went to the police station to make my statement and I was told they would get camera footage to see if they can catch the male sexually assaulting me. Fast forward to December, I was made aware that there was no direct footage of the assault (which was to be expected as there are not cameras in the patients’ rooms) and that the case is pending a prosecutor’s decision on whether there is enough information to charge the male for the assault. I received a phone call tonight from a coworker that the patient/employee that sexually assaulted me back in the spring is currently at the hospital performing his job in patient care at the bedside alongside nursing staff. I am appalled and extremely upset that my job would allow this person to come back to work. Especially when the investigation is still pending. I do not feel safe going to work knowing that he is also working there again and it is causing me anxiety that I might run into him at my next shift. Also I feel uncomfortable with the idea that he is taking care of vulnerable patients that may not be able to speak up for themselves or defend themselves. Is there anything I can do about this?
