Should I Change My Last Name

Hello, I need to fly to a different state for a wedding in April and I'm trying to figure out the best way to do so. My mom's last name is Smith and my dad's last name is Johnson. I was conceived 3 months into my parents relationship my dad did not want me and requested my mom get an abortion and obviously she did not. My dad said he didn't care what last name I got because he wanted to sign away his rights so my mom gave me her last name, Smith, after being told by a judge he could not sign away his rights he decided if he was going to pay child support he would see me and he wanted me to have his last name so it was made Smith-Johnson by a judge. My birthday certificate was never changed, but the court papers and my social security card both say Smith-Johnson, but my birth certificate says Smith still. When it came time to get a driver's license we only had my birth certificate so my license says Smith only on it also. After dealing with some SA from my father I have dropped his last name everywhere I could and have gone by Smith for the last 10 years, but now that I need to get a new ID to fly should I legally change my last name to Smith? I have misplaced the court paperwork and I'm expecting to have issues as my social security card does not match my birth certificate, bills, and bank statement. Do y'all think I'll have issues? Would it be better to change my last name? Can I request I copy of the court papers? I no longer live in the state my name change took place in which is Texas.
