Sister And Cousin Sent Inappropriate Message Via One Of My Devices Without Me Knowing
This is embarrassing but earlier today by Sister (12F) and Cousin (14F) were using my (19M) laptop and tablet to play games. Note: I can text from my number via my phone, tablet, and laptop. My cousin sent me a weird immature message, like a dirty joke. Usually when they do this I ignore them because it makes me uncomfortable and I don’t engage with them. However, they then call me and are asking “WHY DID YOU SEND THAT”.
Obviously I was confused and looked at my messages to see a completely inappropriate message sent to my cousin responding to her text. They were giggling in the background thinking this was funny, and it was clear that one of them responded to this message themselves using my tablet or laptop, which I had let them borrow. This was very much not funny to me and it disturbed. I yelled at them to not send stuff like that and to delete the message. Luckily the message was just a word text, no images.
I’m worried because 1. My cousin is a minor and 2. I don’t want to be blamed and arrested for a message I clearly did not send. I’m genuinely so upset at them because they don’t think this is serious but it clearly is, and this is stressing me out. If someone could help me out here it would be great
