Telephone Harraament

i’m 17 years old and for the past two months I’ve been getting harassed from fake numbers and no caller IDs from the same person/people and they’re making sexual threats and it’ll come from all hours of the day. They will not stop even if I silenced the calls they figure out maneuvers to still call me and it’s somebody from my school because my friend answered the phone for me one time and they knew her voice and called her immediately after saying her name but not continuing. I didn’t want to take it this far, but it seems that they just won’t get the hint so I want to see how far this can go legality wise. If I have to get a restraining order, I will. My thing is I want to find out who is doing this. i’ve documented most of the calls, but don’t answer the rest. I have times all that literally my recent call list right now is all from these people. At school, I don’t get harassed nor do people really care for me, but I guess when these guys are having a little slumber parties they’re bored and decide let’s make rape jokes to girls we know. But from what I’ve realized this is only really happening to me. I asked my friends. I’ve asked other people and no one else is getting these calls.. they make sure when they’re making their sexual threats to use an automated voice, but other than that, they’re using a fake voice they put on. it seriously scares me because I don’t know the future and something could happen to me from these people say at a party setting. i’m writing this at nearly 5 AM because they woke me up out of my sleep with 10 calls. This has been happening for months and I’m now really getting sick and tired of it and it’s causing me actual distress. People in my circle have all told me that I should take this to the police, but I don’t want this to be treated as a joke or just get told to get a new number because I should not have to do that on my own device because boys have nothing better in their lives.
