Hello ???? I need some advice. I am 20, i have been planning my moveout for a few months working , saving, getting my car fixed. I am moving across state lines. I have been open about it too. My mom bought our household a dog when i was 16, the dog bonded to me. Everyone loves her but she's quite literally glued to me and in my shadow 24/7. Sleeps basically in my arms or on my legs EVERY NIGHT.I feed her twice a day in a measure cup, paid for all of her vet bills and made sure i kept all the receipts with my name only on them, shes even microchipped in my name. You have to clean her ears and butt...i have gloves and a whole operation for that, none of them do this and wont- its been like that but i was fine with it because shes mine. I have brought up me taking her before a few times, got a okay and a no two seperate conversations...So i bring up the topic of 'you know when i move i still plan on coming back often and bringing her with for visits 'and it immediately back fired. "No youre not taking the dog" to put it short.. said theyd call the cops. Moving is already stressful and this sucks. I cant imagine being separated from my dog, i think shed get severely depressed as well. As im writing this shes snoozing on my lap lol.
