Desperately need advice. Hi I had surgery and will out of work for 6 weeks without pay so I broke my lease. I move out tomorrow I gave them a month and a week notice the decision to terminate and move out. Prior I called several times and emailed to see if we could work something out and nobody responded. So I did a move out and then the approved it. I called three days in a row multiple times to multiple numbers and didn’t receive a call back from anyone. They prefer text. But nobody answered. Now I had the home listed on marketplace for lease at 2300 (bc that was my price) multiple people were interested and then they raised the rent to 2595 after someone applied and everything. They never listed the house on their website until I asked them why it hadn’t been listed. One person has applied since the rent went up then backed out. I have had multiple person interested and I give them the link to the home/application and the agents number and they all say they couldn’t reach her or haven’t heard from her and the agent is saying they aren’t answering. So I’m confused who’s right. I’ve left several text messages that go unanswered despite texting the next day to follow up. What are my options at this point? I’ve done everything to rent this place but everyone who’s interested can never get ahold of them.
