Ticket Checker At A Concert Hurt My Father

Card image cap

Hi all! Just wondering if there is anything we can do in this situation to help pay for medical appointments.

Location: Ketchum, ID

Live: Bay area in California.

My father and a bunch of friends and I were heading into a concert. The ticket checker for the concert venue thought he had missed my dad's ticket, grabbed his shoulder and yanked him back so hard he stumbled and fell onto the railing. After, my father had shooting pain up the back of his neck, and hand numbness. He was immediately seen by the "medic" who essentially shrugged and said, go see a doc, we cant do anything for you.

We tried to speak with multiple workers there who told us "that sucks" and when my dad was walking slowly over to the medic again, I saw them laughing and pointing at him?? They waved us off when we tried to speak with them again.

We are bringing him to urgent care in the morning to see what exactly happened as the pain is still there and the hand numbness comes and goes. Urgent care is closed locally, but what would be the recourse we could pursue for any medical expenses that are accrued? Thanks in advance!
