Trying To Divorce A Marine

Hi I am hoping to get some info about the situation I am currently in with my husband who is a marine stationed at Camp Pendleton.

So we got married last year in November and we have a daughter who is a year old. We have been officially separated since end of May of this year because of a fight over money which the result was him telling me the marriage was only for him to get paid more and then a few days after I found out he had gotten an STI in March (we were not sleeping together thank goodness). So when we first got married I asked for base access and child care through the military so I could go back to work once our baby was one. As of now I still have no access to the military base because my husband specifically has not wanted me to access the legal resources and “get him in trouble” and I had to figure child care out entirely on my own. I have no idea how to get legal help because he has been my only source of income since getting married and he has sent me just enough to barely cover the basic necessities. I am back to work now thankfully but won’t receive a check until the last working day of this month. Long story short, I am in absolutely no financial position for any type of legal assistance. I just want to be able to be free from the financial power he has over me and I want our daughter to have every possible benefit she’s entitled to.

Really hope this gets to the right people who can share their wisdom because I truly have no where else to turn to.
