What Charges Can Be Pressed
An ex-freind of mine won't stop messaging my dad threatening him. He messaged him this morning saying he was going to slit his throat as well as described the cold steel and dripping blood and sent him a picture of the large machete he said he was going to do it with. He also showed up to my dad property and smashed some of my belongings he brought with him this is the second time he has shown up doing so. He's also sending vauge messages to me saying he's going to make me leave town.
I woke up this morning to what sounded like him trying to enter but it could have just been him smashing the large clay instrument of mine. He also has purposely smashed many expensive belongings of mine and kept things like my tv and my Mac as we were roommates.
The cops said the best they can do is unlawful communication. I don't see how this isnt taken as seriously when he keeps coming to the property and is sending threatening messages to him. What else could be done?
