(PRESS RELEASE) NUREMBERG, DE — The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) recognized leading companies from across the pet industry during the inaugural European Pet Sustainability Awards ceremony on May 12, held at the PSC Interzoo Networking Event in the Foyer Brüssel at the Exhibition Centre in Nuremberg, Germany.

Presented in front of global pet industry leaders attending Interzoo, the awards celebrated companies demonstrating measurable progress, innovation, and leadership across key areas of sustainability such as packaging, ingredient innovation, climate action, and industry collaboration.

The awards are exclusive to PSC Accredited companies, which are businesses that have completed the pet industry’s only third-party verified sustainability accreditation process. PSC Accreditation measures and verifies how responsibly a company operates across environmental and social impact areas through a verified assessment and documentation review process. Accredited companies represent a growing global community committed to continuous improvement, transparency, and practical action across the pet industry.

“It’s easy, especially in sustainability, to focus on what’s not working or how far we still have to go,” said Jim Lamancusa, CEO of the Pet Sustainability Coalition. “But the reality is, there has been meaningful progress across this industry. By recognizing and celebrating the work being done, we create momentum. We highlight what’s possible. And we help move the entire industry forward.”
